- Follows directly from Lesson Book 2 and extends the hand position by changing fingers on the same key and spreading the fingers, using intervals of a sixth up to an octave, then passing under and crossing over, playing Major Scales and Triads I IV V with Inversions, V7 Chord, finally A Minor Scales and Chords with Inversions and introduces the Right Pedal
